Hello Spot-a-Bee supporters!
We hope you are all healthy and home-schooling/home-working situations are going well. In the stillness of these times, we might tune in to the sights and sounds of the bees.
We just wanted to get in touch to let you know that we are happy to launch the Spot-a-Bee App.
You are invited to submit photos of plants that bees buzz around in gardens or local spaces via the Spot-a-Bee App, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play here:
Anyone interested in bees and pollination can:
• Sign-up to become a member of the Spot-a-Bee community.
• Record their own sightings of bees and bee-friendly plants.
• Explore the UK-wide photo-map of bee-friendly plants.
• Request a home-learning pack to help bees, by looking after their homes (to be released in the next few weeks).
We’d welcome your thoughts and feedback! Please get in touch.

We reach our target!
This is just a note to say thank you so much to all our supporters, including those who helped to share the project and offered in-kind support. I’ve been blown away by the kindness of the crowd!
We can now begin the exciting work of making Spot-a-Bee a national project and developing educational resources that will help us engage primary schools.
I will be posting updates of our progress through my Twitter account @riadunkley and on the Spot-a-Bee Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/spot.abee
I’m also going to be meeting with the Spark-funding team to organise the sending rewards very soon. For those of you who elected to receive a reward, a wee treat will soon be on its way!
Very best wishes, Ria
